I had a lot of things to say about this cookie (namely how much TIME it took) but I decided that no one really wants to start their Mondays with whining.
This one is for my friend, with whom I bonded instantly in 2003, and the years that followed have been filled with laughs, love, and insanity.
Hello Kitty + Russian doll = totally, totally you!

Wow, what a beautiful cookie! I absolutely love how you merged Hello Kitty with the Russian Doll!!
Thank you!!
I used a little hello kitty keychain as inspiration!
Love it!!
Thanks!
Wow, this is amazingly detailed and how beautiful cookie it is, I bet it would be hard to eat it, I feel like framing it! How long did it take to make it? I hope your friend was touched, I am.
Thank you Pam for such a kind comment! It took two days I think, and lots of trials. But it was well worth the effort. My friend (who grew up in Russia when she was young before she came to California) just recently got engaged, so this one was for her
Wow, you have such a talent. I love your detail. Just beautiful work. Thanks for posting it!
Thank you Tiana!
OMG its so pretty! I heart!

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love this cookie!!! I would never be able to eat a cookie like this. It’s soooo cute!! Your craftsmanship is amazing! I bow to you…hello kitty cookie master. =)
hahahaha thank you for that oh-so-mighty title! I’m glad you like it!!
Beautiful and you have some mad piping skills! I know how long that took you –my hands ache just thinking of it! plus all of the colors and perfectly appointed adornments
Stunning!
Hi Kate,
Thank you!! I can’t say that I didn’t utter a few “UGH i’m so OVER this cookie!!” a few times while trying to make this one work
Hi!
I am originally from Russia, but I live in Witchita, Kansas. This is historically inaccurate, and my babushka thinks it would be much more beautiful with some glittery buttons.
I’m going to go eat some piroshki for my lunch.
Thank you,
Raskolnikov
Hello! Thanks for stopping by the blog! I actually modeled this cookie after a little keychain I have of HK, but if I ever make another Russian Doll cookie I will do a “historically accurate” one! thanks for the idea
Oh, I totally have my new desktop pic! Thanks – it is BEAUTIFUL!
